Cut length is rounded up to a whole pattern repeat. Usable length must exclude initial alignment waste. Total offcuts are separate pieces, not one continuous strip. No door/window deductions or half-drop matching.
Required strips = ceil(wall width ÷ roll width). For free match, cut length = wall height + combined top/bottom allowance. For straight match, round that length up to a whole vertical pattern repeat. Strips per roll = floor(usable roll length ÷ cut length); rolls = ceil(required strips ÷ strips per roll).
Deduct initial pattern-alignment waste before entering usable roll length. If rolls have different usable lengths, check them separately. Vertical repeat is not roll width. Offcuts do not form one continuous strip, and reuse is not assumed. No door/window deductions, joining short pieces, half-drop matching, irregular walls, corners or globally optimal cutting are included.
